This is the best part of the Starnbergersee in my opinion. The water is very shallow here so an amazing place to swim, sun bathe or do a summer picnic with your friends and family. Even you are allowed to grill here. During the winter months it’s has a very different vibe and beauty. You can take a long walk. I highly recommend this place. Parking is just opposite and costs 4 euros in Summer ( winter free parking) and kiosks available nearby too. Definitely a place also to enjoy sunsets during summer. Public toilet is nearby.

One of the best beaches along Starnberger See. Wide and ample space all along the water with green grass and shady trees. The best part is that only the first meter or two in the water is rocky and after that is soft sand so if you just get past the first meter it's a bit easier on the feet. There are several toilets up down the beach and some overpriced, over-busy Kiosks making big money on the captive audience they have. Nice weather days will be crowded and probably flooded with bees and wasps so come prepared.

Beautiful beach area with parking, concessions and shaded grassy areas. Parking can be difficult on busy days so come early. Ice cream and beer can be purchased at the snack shop. Beachside grilling allowed after 8 pm. Bring an umbrella, towels and snacks. Beach has small stones but the lake bottom is sandy. A great place for SUP or canoes. Inflatables are welcome too.

Recommended by the hotel we stayed at in Berg, and it was a great recommendation.

Lots of open space, so you could sun bathe, have a grill, play some games or whatever you like. Beach is very long which means it wasn't too crowded. Shallow waters means you can wade quite a long way into the lake, probably suitable for those with kids.

Ample parking and very reasonable prices.

Highly...
