Very disappointing. The website suggests that one can see both (C&A) fashion and art, and a number of other things besides; one gets the impression that this is a hybrid but large and interesting museum. The paintings shown as highlights on the website suggest an exciting collection. However, on our arrival, we found that none of these could be visited. Instead, there was a small exhibition of scale models of C&A shops (almost all on one large table, without much information) and a small but interesting exhibition of temporary ceremonial architecture. It's a huge building, but one gets to visit only the large but almost empty entrance hall and two relatively small and dark exhibition rooms. In the average village history museum, there's more to be seen. The staff was very friendly, and the facilities (toilets, museum shop, coffee corner) were fine. Overpriced at €7.00.

This small but interesting exhibition set in a modern building reminded me, although on a much smaller scale, of the Glenstone Museum near Washington, D.C. The Draiflessen Collection has assembled some lovely Rembrandt etchings and art by Jan Van Der Kooi. Lovely, helpful staff.

A wonderful place to have creative, collaborative meetings and conferences! The surroundings add a warm serenity with its trees, water, lawns. Both the interior and the exterior adds to your event should you choose to have it here. Not to mention the staff - professional, warm and...
