Der Badesee am „Südlichen See“ ist in den Sommermonaten geöffnet und bietet Spiel, Spaß und Erholung für die ganze Familie. Der Strandbereich wurde vergrößert und mit über 350 Kubikzentimeter neuem Sand aufgefrischt. Zum Badebereich wird auch ein Tretboot-Verleih angeboten.

Letztes Jahr war das Strandbad nur für Camper erlaubt. Dieses Jahr steht man schon wieder vor verschlossenen Toren. Ein Zaun trennt zusätzlich von den Lokalitäten. Das war vorher nicht so. Man zahlte Eintritt zum Strandbad und für Snacks suchte man halt den Kiosk auf. Diese Zwei-Klassen-Gesellschaft ist unakzeptabel und macht einen wichtigen Sommerort in der Region kaputt. Leider muss man für den See zahlen, steht bei Google nicht eindeutig beschrieben, andere Plätze sind nur für Angler gedacht. Die fahrt war umsonst, kommt lieber ins sauerland dort bezahlt man nichts für...
