Klingender Wasserfall — Attraction in Röthenbach an der Pegnitz

Some places are fun to drive cycle to until one arrives, then many times, on is only underwhelmed with what the location/attraction has to offer. This place is not like tgat, the way there is fun and along the way one has regular farming fields, but also a complete forest feeling, and the smell of the trees is foresty-like. The waterfall itself is beautiful and worth visiting. PS. Boots are needed .....

There is something exquisitely special about hiking through forests and along trails. Encountering bubbling streams and isolated waterfalls enhances the whole retreat from modern city blandness to an appreciation of these amazing places. Natur ja – aber kein echtes Wasserfall-Erlebnis. Der „Fall“ ist eher ein kleiner Rinnsal über Felsen. Wer Großes erwartet, wird eher enttäuscht. Positiv: Die Anfahrt ist einfach und der Parkplatz direkt am Weg. Für einen kurzen Stopp okay – aber kein echtes Highlight.

Der Klingende Wasserfall klingt spektakulärer, als er ist. Was man vor Ort sieht, ist ein schmaler Wasserlauf, der über einen kleinen Vorsprung plätschert – bei wenig Regen fast gar nicht. Die Umgebung ist schön grün, und wer mit offenen Augen geht, findet sicher auch ruhige Naturmomente. Aber als Ziel für einen Ausflug oder als besonderes Fotomotiv taugt der Ort nur bedingt.
