Aussichtsturm "Motte" — Attraction in Recklinghausen

Slightly random placement, I presume there is a reason for it in the middle of fields and forests. A great tower with amazing design, a shame around the graffiti of it, but this doesn't fully detract from the views or atmosphere...

It is a nice area to walk around, but the past few months they have fenced this off because they are building houses by it and doing something...

Ganz toller Aussichtsturm am Emscherradweg und nach der Fertigstellung auch vom Emscherland. Im Inneren des Turmes gibt es Sitzbänke und neben dem Turm ist auch noch eine Bank. Zum Turm führt ein Holzsteg. Fühlt sich ein wenig an wie ein Wachturm am Limes, jedenfalls kommt es meiner Vorstellung davon sehr nahe.
