Gönninger Seen — Attraction in Reutlingen

Beautiful place for awalk, both in winter and summer. But be aware that in summer on sunny days it will be a bunch of naked old people laying around and bathing in the lake. My kids got a little interesting walk past the lake. But don't stop at the lake but keep walking and turn left after the lake to go to the most beautiful place in the forrest with lots of different waterways. Definitely recommend this place to go for a walk. Easy to park i the forest on the other side...

This area has 3 small lakes in a short walking distance from each other. 2 of them are nice and clear, and could be a fascinating snorkel but not sure if it is possible? The sign says swimming is not allowed, but I am not sure if it is for safety, or environmental reasons. There are also some small waterfalls and beautiful streams in the area. Aktuell 31.07.22- gegen 12.00 Uhr mittags noch recht wenig los. Am ausgetrockneten Flussbett entlang, erreicht man in wenigen Gehminuten, vielleicht ca 400 Meter, den ersten, den unteren Gönninger See. Aktuell ist Baden möglich, zumindest tun es die meisten. Viele Menschen waren mit angeleinten Hunden dort, die sich alle ordentlich verhalten haben. Sehr tolle Möglichkeit um mit der ganzen Familie samt Hund einen richtig schönen Tag am See zu verbringen. Vom Ufer aus geht es seicht ins Wasser, ideal für Kinder, die man selbstverständlich trotzdem aus der Nähe gut beobachten sollte . Das Wasser war schön klar, die Naturerlebnisse zauberhaft. Flora und Fauna wunderbar. Eine Entenfamilie schwamm am Schilf entlang und von der gegenüberliegenden Seite, von ganz oben auf den Felsen, hat man einen super Blick über den See. Wanderwege führen direkt am See vorbei, die auch von Fahrradfahrern genutzt werden, aber die Rasenfläche ist groß genug um irgendwo ein etwas ruhigeres Plätzchen zu finden, wenn man nicht direkt am Seeufer liegen muss.
