Schloss Saarfels - Saar Castle — Attraction in Saarburg-Kell

Spend a whole week there with a group of 14 people. The place is clean, quiet, provides lots of space for joint lunches and dinners inside and outside, and has a well kept sauna that easily fits 6 people. The bathroom that contains the sauna is huge and has a large bathtub and a shower that provides some privacy. The rooms are sparsely but sufficiently furnished. All bathrooms were clean and functional. Just one of them had an issue with the shower; it wouldn't get hot enough. The housekeeper is very friendly and ready to help. Because others here claim that the photos would be misleading: absolutely not. The place looks exactly like it does...

I had an absolutely wonderful time during your three-day stay at Schloss Saarfels in Germany! The combination of beautiful weather, stunning natural surroundings, and delicious local Riesling wines must have made for a truly unforgettable experience.

It's always a joy to be able to relax and unwind in such a picturesque setting, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. And of course, enjoying the local wine is a fantastic way to immerse oneself in the local culture and really get a taste of what the region...

The grounds look beautiful. We drove 20+ minutes from Murzig to see this castle and it is unfortunate that it was not open. I think it might be a place to stay? Like a hotel? I’m not sure but we were a bit disappointed to not be able to go in and see. There is a closed gate like a residence outside. When I looked here on google it did not mention it was a place to sleep. I think the description is a bit off! I’m sure it is a lovely place to stay if that is what you are...
