Es ist so schade, warum waren wir nicht eher hier und haben dieses Naturdenkmal in all seiner Pracht bestaunt? Nun erzählen nur noch seine Trümmer von besseren Tagen, als Kinder sich um den mächtigen Stamm reihten, um ihn abzumessen. Noch lohnt der Ausflug auf gut ausgeschilderten Wegen tief in den Wald.

Schöne Wanderung. 1 Stern Abzug, weil ein paar Bänke zum Verschnaufen auf 10 km gut wären. Super Beratung in der Tourismus Info. Die Buche ist leider inzwischen krank. Man kann sich ihr nicht mehr wirklich nähern, weil das gefährlich sein könnte. Ob sie den nächsten Sturm überlebt, bezweifle ich.
