Even on Easter weekend a great place with kids or grandchild. Kids or maybe more parents have to take care of the kids befor e-bikes 😋 take a coffee or tea and do a picnic with a great view over Stuttgart. Update it is or more or less was the best place to watch the Comet 2023-A. Looking to the West you don't look over the light pollution directly over the city. I never tried to see the milky way. For that you should go out of Stuttgart. Nevermind a good place for a night photography. Enjoy and try it, Tell me about ur experience. the first photo is from 2024.10.13 and the second from 2024.10.21. The comet driften away.

It's the spot to finish your hike around the trails here in Stuttgart Ost. Or begin your hike here with a sunrise! Great views of the whole city. Wonderful place for a quick snack and chat with your friends. And even more impressive is why this place exists, I highly recommend learning about its history.

A very beautiful and well kept memory from World War 2. I appreciated the fact that the residence took the time to ensure that history would not be forgotten. As a plus, it had an absolutely 360° view of valleys and distant mountains.

Nice viewing point on a hill consisting of debris from world war II ruins. This place is kind of a war memorial. It is called "Birkenkopf" in German, or more colloquial "Trümmerberg" or "Monte Scherbelino" (Trümmer = ruins, Scherben = shards). Great view of the area around Stuttgart. There is not anything above this point. You can see 360° around and it is mostly forest with just a few buildings. Only thing that I didn't like is all the road noise. Wish we could put all the cars underground or in tunnels so they can't be seen and...
