Great place to spend time in the weilimdorf area. A giant windmill on the top of the hill. It's really beautiful to sit on the hill and enjoy the sunset. Der Grüne Heiner ist definitiv ein schöner Spot rund um Stuttgart für einen spontanen Ausflug – besonders zum Sonnenuntergang ein echtes Highlight.

Großer Pluspunkt: Der Parkplatz ist nah dran, also kein stundenlanger Marsch nötig. ABER: Der letzte Anstieg hat’s in sich – ziemlich steil. Wer mit Kinderwagen oder weniger fit unterwegs ist, sollte sich auf ein kleines Workout einstellen. 💪

Es gibt ein paar Bänke oben, die sehr willkommen sind – aber zu Stoßzeiten (z. B. abends oder am Wochenende) sind die oft belegt. Wer’s gemütlich will, bringt einfach eine Decke mit.

Das Windrad ist wirklich spannend zu beobachten. Die Größe, das Geräusch, die Bewegung.
