Well maintained ruin with a nice story and a nice walk to it. If you are lucky enough to have a clear day, the view from the tower is beautiful! And if you want to enjoy a nice picnic there is an area down the ruin as well. Please make sure to leave it as clean as you can. :)

If you are looking for joy of discovery in your Black Forest hiking, then it's a good place to visit. You can park on the mountain road, and then descend and ascend to arrive at the ruined fort. Must have been quite a vantage point in its days of glory.

Die Ruinen von Schloss Wieladingen. Es ist ein gut gepflegter Ort, den Touristen besuchen können. Sie kann jederzeit kostenlos besichtigt werden. In der Nähe, etwa hundert Meter entfernt, befindet sich ein Grillplatz. Vom Turm aus hat man einen guten Blick auf die Murg und die Umgebung. Bei schönem, klarem Wetter bietet der Turm einen Blick auf die Alpen. Um die Ruine aus der Vogelperspektive zu sehen, ist eine relativ schwierige Wanderung circa 300 Meter hinunter zur Murg und dann auf den gegenüberliegenden Berg Thimos nötig. Die Gesamtstrecke beträgt etwa 2,5 Kilometer. Der Stellenkopf bietet einen hervorragenden Rundblick auf die Burgruine.

Beautiful place, I think it is a nice trip for Sunday, for people who like hiking. You can climb up a tower and enjoy an amazing landscape. It's a great place to have a break, eat a breakfast since there are picknick tables. Ruins are not big, nothing to explore but it's still a...
