Bretten Zoo — Attraction in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bretten

We had a wonderful day here. Its a really big area with lots of animals. The goats, sheep and deer run around everywhere on the inside and they're a lot of fun. They mostly come to you because they're hungry but thats just how they are. You can buy food for them and the other animals in bags for 1€ so no need to bring your own.

I strongly recommend to wear proper shoes that can get dirty with a lot of grip. It can get very slippery and you'll have to be able to walk up and down some steep terrain to access everything. I'd also bring a second pair of pants and a shirt/jacket since the animals jump up on you a lot and we got covered in dirt and droppings within the first 5 minutes.

Unfortunately theres no station to clean your shoes afterwards like i have seen in other places. So a bag for the shoes to spare the care from smelling is a good idea.

I definelty recommend going there! Theres free parking, lots of cute animals to pet and it's very child friendly but also great for adults.

AN DIE MITARBEITER: Leider hatten wir keine Station gefunden wo wir unsere Schuhe säubern konnten. Ein Wasserhahn mit einer Bürste oder deinem Haken um den dreck zu lösen wäre super! Falls es das bereits gibt, bitte besser ausschildern! Ansonsten war alles...

Hier kann ich nur fünf Sterne geben, ein wirklich toller Tierpark für die ganz Kleinen, für die größeren würde ich sagen auch noch in Ordnung, aber hier bietet einem dann doch die Wilhelma mehr oder der Zoo in Karlsruhe. Aber meine zweijährige Tochter konnte mit den Tieren auf Kuschelkurs gehen, das fand ich richtig toll und meine Tochter noch viel besser. Aber ich würde euch Besucher darum bitten, lasst die Tiere zu euch kommen und bedrängt die Tiere nicht, lasst die Tiere in Ruhe, wenn sie sich gerade ausruhen. Und vor allem hör auf, die Tiere mit Chips oder sonstigem zu füttern, wenn ihr das wollt, dann nehmt entweder das Futter vorne mit oder trocknet selber gutes Brot zu Hause und schaut, dass nichts Verschimmeltes verfüttert wird. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass die Tiere da frei herumlaufen, liegt natürlich überall auf den wegen Kot, ihr braucht also nicht eure besten Schuhe anzuziehen. Und bei kleinen Kindern einfach darauf achten, dass sie nicht auf die Idee kommen den Kot in den Mund zu nehmen.

It's very beautiful place for kids to enjoy the most. One can feed the animals and pet them. My kid initially got scared but later she was very happy and it made our day. One can purchase the animal food there itself and costs reasonable. Nice to spend time with kids . There is one small food stall where you can get coffee,fries, icecream, chocolate etc. Also there is a play yard just outside so the kids...
