Eigenturm — Attraction in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Rheinfelden (Baden)

I hiked up from the Rhinefelden area on the side that is almost to Grenzach-Wylen. Nice walk for about 40 minutes. Need to be in fairly good shape to do this one because it is a pretty steep incline. It seems like the last part of the path to the observatory was closed down or overgrown, at least the path Google maps was showing me. There was a tree across it (maybe only two weeks old, still brown leaves on it) and then the path was pretty overgrown on the other side. Google maps said I was 8 minutes away from the observatory, but I spent an hour trying to find the last part of the trail up to it, but ended up covered in nettles and ticks so I came back down. 😂 So maybe it's closed right now or maybe I came up the wrong side. Es hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf Rheinfelden und die benachbarte Schweiz. Es hat einen kleine Grillstelle direkt am Turm. Es gibt keinen direkten Parkplatz. Man kommt zu Fuß über einen Parkplatz Nahe Schützenhaus Herten oder man läuft von Rührberg aus. Alternativ bleibt das bike. Der kurze Anstieg vor dem Turm is ne Herausforderung.
