Ich empfehle eine kleine Wanderung vom Parkplatz über den Heldenberg zur Kapel- le.Die Kapelle ist schöngelegen und die Aussicht von Tannweiler bis Schwäbisch Gmünd wunderschön. Unterhalb der Kapelle ist jetzt eine Hinweistafel: Sie er- klärt, warum und von wem die Kapelle erbaut wurde. Von hier kann man auch eine Wanderung aufs Kalte Feld machen. Schönes Ausflugsziel mit toller Sicht in die Umgebung. Von mehreren Orten in der Gegend gut über verschiedene Wanderwege zu erreichen (Winzingen/Donzdorf, Lauterstein, Schwäbisch Gmünd). Wer allein in der Natur sein möchte, könnte hier zu viel Trubel vorfinden, doch ein Wander-Besuch lohnt sich...

Von Tannweiler aus geht es ein kurzes Stück zur Reiterleskapelle, ein schmuckes Kleinod, das einen Besuch lohnt. Weiter einen steilen Anstieg hinauf zum Kalten Feld mit dem Franz Keller Haus, wo man Getränke und ein Vesper zu sich nehmen kann.
