At first it was nice to see some friendly deer, but it quickly became depressing. The deer have eroded their enclosures, leaving rocks and weeds everywhere, and they stand at the fence pretty desperate for you to pass them some grass.

There was also a smaller deer that looked like it was about to kick the bucket - it had patches of missing fur and its ribs were showing, avoided the other deer, and was fearful of me when I tried to give it some grass. It looked like that deer was excluded from the feeding station by the others, and since there was no grass to eat, or other place to go, it was just hiding in the weeds unable to sustain itself.

Left feeling pretty bad, and didn't want to see the town anymore. In hindsight I should have taken a photo of the sick deer, but my first impulse was to leave.

The drive up was also a single-lane road up a hillside, which I would recommend avoiding as we had to drive our hire car half into the grass to get around a...

FREE ENTRY BUT I RECOMMEND TO DONATE. The road up to the reserve is in bad shape unfortunately. There are red dears, wild boars, white-tailed deers aka bambi. The big route was not worth it. There’s a 1€ cup feeding station but only one there should be one in every area so you can feed all the animals. I think the wild boars area was not well done there’s way to many rocks. Hope its improved...

Ein sehr schönes, naturnah gehaltenes Wildgehege 🦌 🐗 welches perfekt in die Umgebung eingebettet liegt und trotzdem für jedermann gut zu erreichen ist. Großer Pluspunkt, das Gehege kann kostenlos besucht werden und ist frei zugänglich.

Wer gut mobil ist, der kann entweder die kleine oder die große Rundtour bewältigen, wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist für den ist das Wildgehege über einen asphaltierten Weg zu Fuß zu erreichen, ca. 500m Fußmarsch vom Parkplatz 🅿️

Die Tiere (Rotwild) sind wirklich sehr handzahm und fressen einem aus der Hand, ein tolles Erlebnis auch für die kleinen Leute 👧🏼 👦🏼 Vor Ort gibt es die Möglichkeit für einen Euro Futter (Maiskörner) am Automat zu erwerben, was auch gerne von den Tieren angenommen wird.

Als kleines Schmankerl gibt es für die Kids auch noch ein paar Spielgeräte, wie Schaukel, Wippe, Rutschbahn und eine Seilbahn (aktuell in...
