Tierpark Walldorf is really nice to visit with your family. It's absolutely free, they just ask for a small donation to help feed and shelter the animals (not to mention the workers). So please donate when you go to visit.
The park is small, but it has quite a nice collection of birds and animals to observe. The park has a lot of benches, so be sure to bring some food or drinks for the family and hang out. Do not feed the animals! Please read the signs posted everywhere. Your children can even ride ponies in a small area.
They have bathrooms located in the park as well as a changing room for babies and for breast feeding. Quite a nice feature to have for moms with babies.

It's a well made little Zoo and while I'm not a huge fan of some.of the animals being in such small cages I do have to give a plus for the Playground. It got heaps to do for the kids - smaller ones and bigger ones. We also tried the food in the Zoo which was Greek. Yummy and the service was just beautiful 😍 . Kids loved it.
