Der Tillyhügel ist eigentlich ein Gedenkstein für die im 1. und 2. Weltkrieg gefallenen Soldaten aus Wardenburg. Da jedoch im 30 jährigen Krieg der kaiserliche General Graf von Tilly vom 2. bis 23. September 1623 mit 25 000 Soldaten hier lagerte, raubte und plünderte, ist diese Stelle im Voksmund als Tullyhügel eingebürgert worden.

Ganz in Ordnung. Schade nur, dass es nur eine Sitzmöglichkeit gibt die irgendwo einfach rumsteht. Hätte man deutlich besser platzieren können und ebenfalls weitere hinzufügen können.

Ganz in Ordnung. Schade nur, dass es nur eine Sitzmöglichkeit gibt die irgendwo einfach rumsteht. Hätte man deutlich besser platzieren können und ebenfalls weitere hinzufügen können.

Super miejsce na spacer z psem dużo terenu leśnego do obejscia, jest to miejsce historyczne i upamiętniające żołnierzy walczących i poległych w I i II Wojnie Światowej.

Są tam zasypane bunkry, jest jezioro które spokojnie można obejść w 45min do okoła.

Niestety brak jest tablic informacyjnych przy bunkrach, które mogłyby opowiedzieć więcej o historii tego miejsca. Czy chociażby do czego to wszystko służyło, lokalni mieszkańcy zapewne znają historie tego miejsca, ale ludzie z zewnątrz nie będą w stanie tego zrobić bez...

Der Tillyhügel befindet sich nördlich der Ortschaft Wardenburg. Es wirklich nur ein kleiner Hügel mit einem Gedenkstein darauf. Da der Hügel nicht besonders hoch ist und um ihn herum hohe Bäume stehen, hat man auch keine Aussicht von dort. Der Sage nach, soll der Feldherr Tillyhügel dort im Dreißigjährigen Krieg sein Lager...
