Freizeitpark Lochmühle — Attraction in Wehrheim

This is such a hidden Gem!!! We saw so many cars when we arrived so we thought it would be packed... We arrived at 10am, yet there was no Q, and we were in, in less than 5 min from arriving at the entrance. If you have a weekend off and want to spend a family day to remember, don't think twice... It's such a big and beautiful place to go to. So much to do and see and there is fun for everyone, young and old. I'm a smoker, and I always look at how many stubs I can see in a place like this, and I honestly didn't see a single cigarette stub... All the smokers would kill the bud and walk to a trash can. It's so clean, so happy, so absolutely fun. I can't recommend this place enough... I didn't know, but when we got there I saw that you can rent or reserve a hut where you and friends can have a BQQ!! Next time, I'll definitely do that. We paid 20/21€ entrance on a Sunday per person and it was worth every cent. It's genuinely fun for kids and adults. This is what a funpark should be like. We stayed until 18:00 and we still didn't see everything nor did we do the same ride twice. Our favourite was the tractor that takes you around a garden wich was amazing for my 3 year old because they had veggies growing and had names next to them so you could see what they were, it's such a nice...

The parc and the attractions are cool. Great day for a family. But the Polo Grill is a nightmare. The cashier was just standing there like there was nothing to do even though it was busy as hell. We were asked what our order was multiple times and they still got it wrong. Simultaneously the cashier tried to make us pay 3 times in a row even though we had been standing in front of him the entire time. Then there was some weird curry like sauce on my Cheeseburger. No clue why and it definitely ruined the, otherwise pretty decent, Cheeseburger. All in all the staff the staff was not friendly and just seemed annoyed. I sae a few yelling at kids, especially by the pony rides. I suppose it must suck to probably only make minimum wage and deal with annoying parents and annoying kids all day. Not cheap, but a good experience overall.

We were there on a sunny Saturday, so the park was packed! The park’s facilities are well-maintained and clean. Restrooms were easily accessible and tidy, and there were plenty of spots to rest and have a snack.

It seems that there is something for older kids, but not really much to do for infants. The staff members were relatively approachable, but we received false information on two different occasions - we were sent to a certain ride by the info desk employees, but we were turned down by their colleagues operating the ride because our daughter was too small. Oh well, not a pleasant experience to walk across the park in 30 degree weather for nothing. At least there were plenty of animals to...
