Rügland Castle — Attraction in Weihenzell (VGem)

Lived in Rugland 28 years ago, while stationed at Katterbach. Myself and 1 other American family were there. Vom Vorgängerbau Wasserburg Rügland ist nichts mehr zu erkennen, es soll noch der Keller vorhanden sein. Der Rest wurde mit dem alten Schloss überbaut. Seit Kauf von selbigen befindet sich die Anlage im Familienbesitz derer von Crailsheim. Der Nachfogebau, das neue Schloss mit seinem Park kann man im Normalfall nur von außen besichtigen.
