Absolutely loved my visit to this place! As someone who really enjoys baking, it was fascinating to see what the life of a baker was like historically. More than that, the house has so many fascinating artifacts of the past and is such an immersive way to experience it. The guide was so lovely, and the tea, glühwein, and cookies they served our group afterwards were the perfect end to the day. Of course, it was also great to get some goodies from the cute gift shop as well, so I can continue to enjoy my visit for a while after with treats at home. If you are nearby, definitely make a visit here!

Ein wunderschönes Kleinod. Die Führung, mit so viel Herzblut, war sehr informativ und gerade in der Vorweihnachtszeit einfach ein Träumchen. Es gab im Zelt lecker Glühwein und Pfefferkuchen. Unbedingt mal hingehen👍

Sehr schönes kleines Museum hatten sehr nettes Gespräch mit der Dame im Museum..... Leider ist es um den Marktplatz sehr ruhig geworden.... Zum Essen ist in Weißenburg das Bahnhofshotel sehr zu empfehlen......

Description
Muzeum Piernika is a museum located in medieval old town of Toruń, Poland, that is famous for its gingerbread. Visitors take part in an interactive show through which they are taught how to make a traditional gingerbread. The show consist of two parts – first visitors are shown how the dough was made in Middle Ages.
