Der Aufstieg, etwas anstrengend. Aber wenn man angekommen ist hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Ruine, sowie den Römerturm. Das schöne, der Eintritt ist frei. Das innere vom Turm ist sehenswert. Gerade der obere Teil wo noch die alten Treppen zu sehen sind, da wird es eng. Oben angekommen, hat man einen schönen Blick rundum. Hat...

Die Burg Helmishofen wurde im 12. Jh. erbaut. Im Bauernkrieg und 30-jährigen Krieg zerstört wurde sie immer wieder aufgebaut. Erst nach einem Brand 1792 verfiel wurde sie aufgegeben und verfiel. Erhalten ist nur der Bergfried, von den Einheimischen als Römerturm bezeichnet. Der Turm ist restauriert...
