Came here today on an August Sunday afternoon with my husband and three kids ages 6, 4, and 2. We came just after they opened at 11:10am, and were the only ones there for 20 minutes or so. This is one of my favorite open air museums, as it was very reasonably priced (I think 13 euros for our family), not overwhelmingly large (only 6 buildings or so, which is more than enough for my kids at their ages, and not so big that you would need a stroller), had fun activities for them to do (today it was making a leather pouch) and a tower to climb and enjoy the beautiful view), large clean bathrooms just outside the grounds, and had knowledgable, friendly staff that spoke English (though tours were not able to be given in English). Not to mention they served us mead and apple juice in the tavern! The place was easy to find using Google Maps and local signs. I couldn't find a specific parking lot, but there was quite a large length of road to park along. Hours are limited to 11am-4pm on Sundays, which is quite limited but understandable. We were there for about 1.5 hours, most of that time being spent working on the craft. The kasse has a small gift shop with Celtic themed toys and souvenirs. Most of the signs were in English and German. Overall, my kids loved...

PRO: Nice recreated Celtic village w/ tavern/communal, tower, lodging, etc. Also has a giftshop where you can buy the ticket for €5 Euro. Sample mead, cider & fruit cake, as well as arts & craftsmaking. Very friendly staff. English translation available. CON: No designated parking, just park outside by the side of the road. RECOMMENDATION: Highly recommended for a family...
