Zittau Zoo in the tri-border area — Attraction in Zittau

The Zoo is all right. It is the small brother or sister of the görlitz zoo. You will find different animals here and a different atmosphere. It is more wild so avoid it in wet weather as the paths are getting very muddy. During the winter season you do have reduced prices but also no food is available on the premises. The park area around is beautiful and the restaurant just outside the zoo is delicious. Hint: the restaurant has a Saturday special where kids get a free entrance ticket to the zoo with every kids...

Great outing with a 4 year old and baby. Everything is clean and well organised- there are baby changing stations in the toilets and the zoo/park is small enough that you can see most things without feeling drained :) There is a parking right next to it but I didn't manage to go there - google maps sends you somewhere else so just double check what is closest to...

Awesome with small kids (even toddlers) and in hot weather - there is enough shadow and places to cool down. We are amazed and have just had definitely not the last visit.
