Leninstadt should not be confused with the gated and locked Haus der Offiziere which lies northeast of this location. This location is just a collection of old and completely abandoned buildings. It does not include the Lenin statue, pool house, grand staircase, or other beautiful pictures posted here. Those are all part of Haus der Offiziere and you MUST contact the caretaker there beforehand to be let in.
