its a beautiful place to visit. its about an hour's drive from Accra and located on the Accra koforidua road. a great place to visit for people who will not have enough time to visit cape coast or are afraid of heights and the forest or those who want the experience of a canopy walk without having to travel through traffic. a natural forest with a canopy of five roped bridges. a guided walk though the forest to the canopy walk. the forest is not as dense as the cape coast forest and the canopy not as high as the cape coast canopy. takes about an hour to about an hour and half through the forest and canopy. it houses a guesthouse for those people interested in spending a night or two. the place is not as developed as the cape coast canopy site but is more rural like. it is also very close to other tourist attractions like the Boti waterfall, caves and three headed tree and another waterfall in the area. its a round trip of beautiful attractions to visit starting from the canopy to the waterfall through Aburi gardens and back to Accra. tour guides are students from the agricultural college in the area and are very knowledgeable. mine was a guide called Simon who just completed the agricultural college. very knowledgeable guide of plants, uses and toxicology. he said " the land is ours!" which he explained was the motto of the college. he certainly owned the land with...
