Stunning location. A wow when you walk through the lodge and see the veiw. Beautiful. Peaceful place enabling total relaxation. Architecture of all the building and structures..... The materials used, the colours, the textures , the light fixtures, everything so perfect but comfortable like you are a guest in a friends home. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Fabulous food...l put on a little weight! Our chalet was simply perfect, we loved everything about it. Lovely to have the verandah to sit or stand and stare at the veiw. The safari drives were more than expected. I have longed to see elephants in their natural habitat since a child....our ranger made my dream come true.... with his knowledge and experience we were able to be within a few feet of a magnificent bull elephant. We saw a lot of species of birds and animals. More than happy with this first visit to Zaina Lodge. We will be returning to Zaina Lodge .....in a few months time during the rainy season.. Can't wait....thank you to the 'Zaina...

Taxi from Larabanga to the park: 40-50 cedis. Entrance to the park 46 cedis (prices on their website are not updated). Safaris are from 7:00-9:00, 11:00-13:00, 15:30-17:30 or the night safari 19:00-21:00. For walking safari you only pay 12 cedis per hour per person (so 24 cedis in total), for jeep safari you rent the car for 200 cedis per hour (so 400 for the 2 hours, you can’t do less). You can share the jeep with 7, so at the end the price is reasonable. Maybe I was unlucky, I don’t know, but in the 2 hours we didn’t see much, just 1 elephant, some monkeys and some antelopes. Other people told me as well they didn’t see much. Some guys went camping for 2 nights in the park and saw nothing. From the swimming pool of the motel you can actually see more, as elephants go to the pool below to drink.. but of course they are very far. I don’t understand why we didn’t go there with the jeep since apparently elephants are always there. Tbh I was very disappointed and wouldn’t...

Mole National Park is a must go if you are a tourist in Ghana. Seeing the animal is their natural habitat is way better than caged in a zoo. You get to enjoy nature with them. The air quality here is amazing. Beautiful trees, flowers and insects you may have never seen before are all dwelling in this beautiful nature park. And the icing on the cake is the very friendly elephants. I was fortunate to see them in various places all around the park and got very close to them and they were not bothered I was there. It's truly amazing

And Paul our tour guide was good at spotting the animals and knows where they most are resting or feeding. Such a great guy! If you want to do this on a budget, you can message me and I will give you the hints for free. I did the entire trip from Tamale to the place with...

Our visit to Mole National Park was a fantastic experience. We had the privilege of observing magnificent giant elephants, playful olive baboons, warthogs, and graceful antelopes. However, we encountered some challenges with Tsetse flies and were unfortunately bitten multiple times. It was somewhat disappointing because we believe that better information about the Tsetse fly outbreak before our trip would have allowed us to prepare more effectively. Additionally, it would have been helpful if the safari had offered insect repellent, even for purchase, considering the potential consequences of the bites. Despite this, it was a memorable journey, although my wife and I did fall ill afterward due to the numerous Tsetse fly bites.

Mole is by fay the best place in Ghana to spot wildlife, especially the savannah elephants. Tours are available on short notice through the central visitor's centre. Guides are very, very knowledgable and do their best to show as much animals as possible. But, it's a safari, so no guarantees!! The park's lodge has a various range of rooms that differ in luxury, ranging from chalets with a small balcony and AC to (rather large) rooms with fans. We were in the latter and didn't miss the AC as you can ventilate the room really well trough the windows. However, we were staying in the relatively cool period in July/August. You can easily fill three or four days here doing the different tours: by jeep, on foot, night-safari.
