A long beach (not your typical Greek island cove) of gritty sand. A very quirky and relaxed beach bar and of course, the famous 'mushroom' parasols ... some are too low to use easily and these tend to be left until last so arrive a bit earlier if possible. This is not a beach to visit in strong winds particularly from the N / NW and I was disappointed to see quite a lot of small items of plastic rubbish in the water and on the beach, particularly towards the far end where presumably the currents push things. Read more4.3 when the wind is south it becomes a swimming beach, for usual north wind its a surf beach. There is a small bar, surf school and bio toilet 😱😱. You can rent only umbrellas (5 Euro) or use your own. The sea is crystal clear. The bar conducts some parties like Full Moon party, there is a queue for the coffees and coctails. The instagram corner is above the rental place with 2 retro seating. Take your place before million picture taker girls. Read moreIt could have been a great experience, with nice music and a nice scenery... it turned out as an extremely dirty beach. Based on the barman at the local beach bar, it's due to the rain. It rained 3 days ago and this was how the beach looked today. A guy from freaking Ecuador had to save a turtle which was entangled in a plastic bag. And 4 wonderful ladies started cleaning up the beach from all the plastic waste.. kudos to those 5 humans and a huge disgrace to the own who is in charge...
