Read moreI can’t recommend Pozar Hot Springs enough—5 stars doesn’t even do it justice! Nestled in the breathtaking foothills of Mount Kaimaktsalan, this hidden gem in Northern Greece is an absolute must-visit. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning natural beauty: lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and the soothing sound of the Thermopotamos River flowing nearby. The setting alone is worth the trip, but the real magic happens when you step into the 37°C thermal waters. Instantly, every ounce of stress melted away, and my body felt rejuvenated by the mineral-rich pools—known for their healing properties that ease everything from muscle aches to skin conditions. What sets Pozar apart is its perfect blend of raw nature and thoughtful facilities. The outdoor pools are affordable (just €2-3!), and the experience of soaking under a warm waterfall while gazing at the rugged gorge is pure bliss. For a more intimate escape, the private baths are a steal at €12-15, offering a cozy retreat that feels luxurious without breaking the bank. The site is clean, well-maintained, and still retains an authentic, local charm—far from the overcrowded tourist traps you might expect. Add in the friendly staff, a quaint café with tasty snacks, and the chance to explore nearby hiking trails or Edessa’s waterfalls, and you’ve got a perfect day (or weekend!) of relaxation and adventure. I visited in February, and the contrast of the steamy pools against the crisp air was unforgettable—though I’m already planning a summer return to swim under the stars. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, Pozar Hot Springs delivers an experience that’s equal parts therapeutic, scenic, and soul-reviving. Trust me, you’ll leave feeling like a new person. Book your trip now—you...
