Paralia Agios Dimitrios — Attraction in Alonnisos Municipality

Incredible beach if u desire, appreciate seclusion & privacy. Also fantastic for snorkeling & seeing abundant sea life (urchins, many many types fishes, fireworms , crabs, snail's etc).

Has a area too, that has free sunbeds, around 14 or about....probably best going earlier in day if wanting grab 1 those though. 2 beach bar's, restaurants also close by.

The only negative (didnt bother us) is it's full pebbles,rocks there. Probably best bringing a pair water shoes for protection also advisable because was lot's...

Arguably, the best beach in the island. The waters are very clean with a million shades of blue. Access is fairly easy, although parking may be an issue when the beach is too crowded. Finding a sunbed is easy and probably the cheapest in the island. Do visit the cozy beach bar and try the pita with galotiri cheese sandwich. Lastly, if you are lucky enough you could also meet the resident duck. Sadly...

The beach was nice but not particularly better or too different from the others along the coast in terms of the experience. It is amongst the longest in terms of driving time to reach, it is similarly rocky, and the view is honestly less interesting when compared to those with amazing cliffs and such around it.
