If you’re up for a little adventure during your stay in Antiparos, there’s a hidden gem that you simply can’t miss. Nestled far from the usual tourist spots, this beach is a small slice of paradise, but getting there is half the fun. The road leading to it is rough, with a rocky and uneven terrain that demands a Jeep or an SUV. Thankfully, there are plenty of rentals on the island, so if you’re keen on exploring, the journey is definitely possible.
The beach itself is on the smaller side, so it tends to fill up quickly, especially during peak season. But what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in beauty. The waters here are crystal clear, offering a perfect, serene blue that’s ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The sand is exceptionally smooth, making it a pleasure to walk barefoot along the shore.
One important thing to note: this beach is truly off the beaten track, so you’ll need to come prepared. There are no facilities—no umbrellas, no sunbeds, and no natural shade to escape the sun’s intensity. Be sure to bring your own beach gear, plenty of water, and anything else you might need for a day in the sun.
Despite the rough journey and lack of amenities, this beach is absolutely worth it. The untouched natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and pristine waters make for an unforgettable experience. For those willing to go the extra mile, this secluded beach offers a perfect, tranquil escape from the more crowded spots on the island.
Overall, this beach gets a 5/5 for anyone looking to combine a bit of adventure with a truly stunning...
Read moreBeautiful wild beach, unspoilt unlike others which are overdeveloped or crowded. It's quite small perhaps can only fit 12 couples maximum with some space between. We were lucky that we arrived at right time of the year which it's not busy... at the most it was only 10 people including us which we felt it's enough. Even it's not a nudist beach but there were a couple which didn't bothered us. It's quite difficult to get to which is a good thing I reckon to keep it from being overcrowded... the road is not good, it will be a boneshaking & tyre busting 5 miles of drive to the beach but it's worth it 😊 And finally TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU WHEN LEAVING THIS...
Read moreFaneromeni Beach is off the beaten path. We rented a quad and got there with no problem. It was actually fun driving on the rocky, dirt roads with a quad, not sure it would be the same for a car, unless its a higher, bigger car. With the quad, we were able to drive all the way to the path that takes you down to the beach. The water was incredible! The beach is not very big, but never did we feel crowded. Some people were in the water, others were reading, others just taking in the sun. It is very secluded so there is nothing out there but you and the beach. Take drinks, snacks, shade, and anything you might need for an awesome day...
