We went there by car and was very dangerous.. the way that google maps shows from Sant George seems faster because it takes 19 min but in fact you have to cross the mountain and it shouldn’t be allowed for cars..it is like a trekking path. Read moreThis drive is not for the faint of heart! It’s paved for some of the way, but a dirt / gravel single lane track for the steepest part. The drive is frightening, especially so if you have your entire family in the car.
Please read this and other reviews. We did not, and regretted this trip. Some reviews suggest a 4x4 is recommended. I’d suggest that is a minimum.
BTW, the beach itself is not great - Stoney not sandy, although the cove is nice.
Really, there are many nicer beaches that don’t not require you to risk your life...
