Firi Ammos — Attraction in Attica

We went to Fyri Ammos last Sunday June 5/2022 and this was another perfect choice. Drove with our car and realized that on this 400 meters long red beach there was nobody else. Super clean, no umbrellas, no sunbeds, no wind, no waves, no music, only crystal clear, blue, deep, cold water, what else do you need? Stayed for three hours since we had our own umbrella!!

I read bad reviews from ( mostly) Greek tourists and I don't get it:

Some wrote that the view was just to the Cretian sea/ocean!!! So what, what did they expect?? Some that the beach was empty!!!!!!!!! Some wrote there were bees! So, is it the beach's mistake?? It happened just one day, you def don't rate the beach with one star!! If it was dirty I would too. Some writes there were bubbles!! It s joke what people complain about...

About the umbrellas prices (another issue lately): what would be a fair price for an umbrella during July-August on a Greek island, which is busy just for those two months and when the rent of the spot (I heard) is about 20-25000 euros/season ?? Plus (maybe) a worker, some tax , the preparation of putting deep down the sand the sticks for the umbrellas and more. Should it be for free?? Or else you buy your own umbrella and you have it forever....

STOP COMPLAINING FOR NOTHING, WE ARE LUCKY TO BE ON A BEACH , TO BE ON HOLIDAYS.

Μεγάλη παραλία σε ευθεία, ίσως η μεγαλύτερη στα Κύθηρα. Όμορφα, καθαρά νερά με πολλά ψάρια. Αν δεν φυσάει ή έχει κύμα είναι υπέροχα,αν κατάλαβα βέβαια συνήθως έχει αέρα. Ο δρόμος είναι αρκετά στενός και κακός,τα έχει όλα, άσφαλτο, τσιμέντο και στο τέλος χωματόδρομος . Υπάρχει σε ένα τμήμα οργάνωση και τεράστιο χώρο για όποιον θέλει να κάτσει μόνος του με την δική του ομπρέλα. Ομπρέλες δέκα ευρώ,οι μπροστινές δώδεκα με το στρώμα, αξίζουν όμως. Καντίνα που καλύπτει τα απαραίτητα και όταν πήγα εγώ έδιναν δύο κανό δωρεάν για όποιον ήθελε. Τα παιδιά στη καντίνα πολύ εξυπηρετικά Έτσι πήρα ένα μονοθέσιο που είχε ωραία πλεύση καί μαζί με το δικό μας μονοθέσιο πήγα με τον γιό μου δεξιά πέρα από τα βράχια σε δύο μεγάλες σπηλιές και μπήκαμε μέσα. Αν κάποιος ξέρει κολύμπι ή έχει βατραχοπεδιλα μπορεί να πάει και κολυμπώντας. Θά έλεγα πως δεν είναι ότι καλύτερο για μικρά παιδιά, είναι απότομη η θάλασσα και έχει μεγάλα βότσαλα , όμως χρωματιστά και ωραία. Προσέξτε μην φυσάει για να απολαύσετε το μπάνιο...

I can guess that road will be sooner or later renewed (some preparation has been done), perhaps it won't be such secluded and calm anymore...
