The Red Rock waterfall is a beautiful place to visit with very cold water where you can swim or just refresh your feet. The hike is moderate in difficulty as in some places you need to climb, but is still manageable. In our group we had people between 6 to 52 years old and everyone was fine, the kids loved the excitement of exploring the trail.
After we parked the cars on the side of the road we visited the Orlias Stream which is about 5 min walk from the road. Then we started the trail following the blue signs but at one point we found a marking showing the red markings for the Red Rock waterfall. The trail is quite rocky in many places where you carefully climb up and then continue walking.
There are some small streams on the way and we stopped at each of them, so our hike was probably longer but very enjoyable. We run low on water so we have filled our bottles with cold clean water from one of the streams. No one had problems from it.

Read moreWe found this hidden gem asking some locals one year ago, this year we returned again! Still one of the most amazing paradise like areas I have been to. A bit walking upwards Olympus mountain you find this amazing place. The water and the freshness cleans your entire soul and mind. This is a place like a painting but in reality. Until now I have been there two times with my family, my youngest daughter was 6 years old and needed some pauses this year she was 7 and we stopped only one time on the way uphill. But took us approximately 40 min to walk. Great amazing surroundings of great mountains and springs makes the walk a pure joy. Once you reach there are not some many people, at least the two times we got there we have almost been alone the first time and some more people was there on the second time however far away...
Read moreImpressive waterfall with a very nice path to it. It's not just a walk, there is a lot of deliberation, so.e difficult places, but at the end it's really worth it! About hour, hour and 10 minutes walk. The last part is not very well marked, on the first picture you see the stones and an old tree, you should go between them to reach Red rock. The water is cold, but refreshing, there were...
