This beach is simultaneously magical and terrible. The location, the views, the sea are all amazing. One of the closest to Athens places you can feel on holiday. At the same time the development of this beach is almost a text book case of Greek anarchy in action. They made a stupid massive road, everyone builds whatever they like (almost all in bad taste), short term Greek tourism at its worse.

I still go often. Just try and avoid busy periods and keep away from the development. Parking is a problem when it is busy but if you insist and disregard the scoundrels looking to milk you of your cash and get to the far beaches....aaaah, once again you are on your own with Aegean beauty.

One of the best places to kayak, full of little coves and beaches accessible by kayak or adventurous...

Chiliadou Beach is a beautiful, wild place with crystal-clear water and a stunning mountain backdrop. The beach is long and wide, so it’s easy to find a quiet spot even in summer. It’s not organized, but there are a few cafés and taverns nearby. Be aware – it’s mostly pebbles, the waves can be big, and it often gets windy, so it’s not the best choice for families with small children. Water shoes are highly recommended. If you love unspoiled nature and dramatic scenery, you’ll love it here. Getting there can be tricky – the last few kilometers are steep and narrow, so you’ll need a confident driver and a decent car. There is an alternative route around, but it takes about 40...

Very beautiful surroundings and a nice drive from Athens. Drive duration Aprox 2h 30m from Athens. Great day trip! Sunday was a very busy day for this beach. Many visitors but not uncomfortably so. One major downside. Very difficult to park. A tip at the end of the beach their is a parking area (4 euros).Water was very clear!!! Beach is mostly unorganized you bring your own umbrellas etc. (Make sure you do for a long stay). Small part is organized with sun beds and umbrellas ( cost aprox. 5€ per person). There are places to eat along...

Paradise! Lots of green, wide beach, place with shadows. There was an open shop/bar in mid june with barely no people on the beach. We didn’t see the caves because of big waves but it really gave the ocean vibe and we loved it. There is a 6km dirt road near the beach but we got without problem with Suzuki Celerio, just be careful.
