Agios Giannakis beach — Attraction in Igoumenitsa Municipality

Very beautiful beach with pebbles and a gentle entrance to the water. Super snorkeling on the left side, including an underwater tunnel to swim through. However, we have a negative opinion of the behaviour of the beach kiosk operator. We arrived sometime around 10am and the parking lot was far from full. Cars were parked in different directions. Some parked in the shade parallel to the road, others perpendicular. We also parked like the others. After about half an hour, the stall operator arrived with his family and we think he had some kind of mental breakdown, because he started screaming like a lunatic near our car. If he had come in person and told us that he thought we were parked wrong, we would have parked immediately. Instead, he screamed like an idiot, my boyfriend went to re-park anyway, and he got a bunch of curses. We were far from the only ones who parked lengthwise. A minute after we reparked another car with a local license plate pulled up and parked in our original spot where it had been for several hours, making the emotional outpouring of the snack shop owner absolutely unnecessary. We had originally wanted to have refreshments in the kiosk on the beach, but we will not support someone who treats people like that. Maybe the owner could think about the fact that tourists feed him and yes, sorry, we didn't know the parking lot would be so full, so if you require people to park your way, charge for parking or paint lines or put a person there to direct people. This place is a little bit of heaven on earth. Beautiful clear waters with nice snorkeling. It is clean, remote, has good parking facilities and a good road to get there. There is a good cantina on the beach run by a very friendly couple. The prices are reasonable and the coffee good quality. Παραλία που αξίζει να επισκεφθείς. Αρκετός χώρος να χρησιμοποιήσεις τον εξοπλισμό σου για να καθίσεις..πάνω στην παραλία υπάρχει εξοπλισμενη καντίνα και ακριβώς πάνω από την καντίνα υπάρχει διάζωμα με ελιές όπου υπάρχει σκια για ξεκούραση. Δίπλα από την καντίνα υπάρχει ντουζιέρα με ζεστό νερο. Το πάρκινγκ έχει αρκετό χώρο, πλην όμως τον Αύγουστο πρέπει να είσαι νωρίς εδω καθως υπάρχει μια δυσκολία στη στάθμευση. Αριστερά της παραλίας , σε απόσταση 130 μέτρων περίπου , κολυμπώντας κοντά στα βράχια , θα βρεις είσοδο σπηλαίου στο οποίο μπορείς να εισέλθεις. Οι ντόπιοι το γνωρίζουν και το επισκέπτονται. Ακριβώς στην είσοδο του σπηλαίου μπορείς να πατήσεις στο βυθό και σκυφτός να εισέλθεις εντός. Μέσα στο σπήλαιο βάθους 10 μέτρων περίπου , μπορείς να σταθείς όρθιος , όπου το νερό φτάνει μέχρι την μέση περίπου. Ο βυθός από την είσοδο και εντός του σπηλαίου έχει στρογγυλές μεγάλες πέτρες , χωρίς αχινούς όπου μπορείς να πατήσεις άφοβα. Προϋπόθεση να μπεις στο σπήλαιο , χρειάζεται...
