Bouros beach — Attraction in Karystos Municipality

We were 4 adults and one year old baby, arrived in the morning in this beach. When we wanted to have the lunch, we realized that the beach bar only have junk food. We then chose the nearest tavern (100m away) and had a proper lunch.

Once we were back, we had the big surprise to find all our belongings put at the sun, on a chair, including our baby food and drinks. The beach persons told us that they free-up space for other customers as it was Saturday and a lot of locals come at that beach.

With no space for us to stay, we were forced to leave. We never ever had this experience before in other places. We were good customers during the week, when the beach was empty but once a lot of other people come, we were put away.

The behavior of the employees was extremely disrespectful and we would not recommend this location to any...

The beach is nice and the stars are for that, but the problem is that the staff is greedy for money. We left 1 hour in a restaurant a few minutes away to eat something healthy ( we have a baby and on the beach they have only sandwiches) and when we came back , we found our things left away from the beach because they wanted to give the sun-beds to other people ! I think that with this attitude they descended too low .. and as we were in holiday it is not FairPlay to do like this.. so if you want to stay here you should order everything from them not only...

Όμορφη παραλία και καθαρή θάλασσα. Φροντίστε να μην έχει αέρα, ειδικά νότιο ή νοτιοδυτικό, γιατί θα έχει πολύ κύμα και μάλλον δεν θα μπορέσετε να κάνετε μπάνιο. Όταν είναι ήρεμη η θάλασσα, είναι πολύ ωραία, έξω αμμουδιά και μέσα λίγες πέτρες στην αρχή. Δεν είναι απότομη, οπότε είναι ιδανική για παιδιά. Αν φυσάει βοριάς, δεν έχει κύμα, αλλά υπάρχει σχετική αμμοβολή. Υπάρχει ένα μέρος της παραλίας που είναι οργανωμένο, με beach bar, ομπρέλες κτλ, και ένα κομμάτι που μπορείς να βάλεις τον δικό σου εξοπλισμό. Το beach bar σχετικά καλό, εξυπηρετικοί, αλλά δεν θα το έλεγα φθηνό. Μόλις φθάνεις στην παραλία, αντικρίζεις κάτι όχι συνηθισμένο για παραλία, ένα άγαλμα. Λέγεται ότι φιλοτέχνησε άγνωστος καλλιτέχνης, στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του '70 και αναπαριστά τον Κένταυρο Χείρωνα και κατά πάσα πιθανότητα τον Αχιλλέα, τον οποίο ανέθρεψε, αφού τον εμπιστεύθηκε σ' αυτόν ο Πηλέας όταν τους εγκατέλειψε η μητέρα του Θέτιδα. Άλλη εκδοχή λέει πως είναι με τη νύμφη Ναϊαδα, όμως υπάρχουν παρόμοιες παραστάσεις και πίνακες από την εκπαίδευση του Αχιλλέα. Στην άλλη πλευρά φαίνεται ένα ξενοδοχείο που για κάποιο λόγο εγκατέλειψαν, αφού λειτουργούσε κάποτε, την δεκαετία του '80, απ' ότι μας είπαν. Το μέρος πάντως σίγουρα αξίζει την...
