This beach has a lot of potential. It’s long, sandy, and offers something for everyone. There are numerous beach bars for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere, yet there’s also plenty of space for visitors who prefer to bring their own umbrellas and sunbeds and enjoy a more peaceful experience. The presence of lifeguards is another big plus, making it a safe place for families and swimmers. However, despite these positives, the beach suffers from a lack of regular maintenance. Unfortunately, it’s not as clean as one would hope. While walking along the shore, we came across cigarette butts buried in the sand, plastic and glass bottles, food waste, and other forms of litter. Shockingly, we even found a fishing line with a hook - something that poses a real safety risk. It seems that the beach is thoroughly cleaned only at the beginning of the tourist season, which is simply not enough. To truly enhance the experience for both locals and tourists, regular cleaning throughout the summer is essential. Installing clear signage that encourages visitors not to litter, along with occasional inspections by local authorities, could go a long way in preserving the beauty of this natural space. Of course, responsibility also lies with the beachgoers themselves. Taking care of the environment means treating it with respect. No one enjoys stepping on a cigarette butt while walking barefoot.
