Beautiful but Crowded Cove – Amazing Water and Great Food

We loved this little cove and we came back for a second day. The water is incredible — crystal clear and refreshingly cold, perfect for a swim.

That said, the beach is quite small and gets overcrowded quickly, which can make relaxing a bit tricky. Space is limited, and it fills up fast.

The bar and restaurant are a highlight — excellent selection of traditional Greek dishes and fresh seafood. We stayed for lunch both times and were very satisfied with the quality and service.

We found that paying for sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach wasn’t worth it. You don’t really get any privacy or extra space. A much better option is the sunbeds on the ramp in the pinewood area, which offer more comfort and shade. Parking is available, easy...

The beach is nice, with sunbeds (10 euro per set), free parking (small, so come at 10 am latest) and one tavern.

The road is asphalt, narrow, but no problem to reach the beach. Just drive slowly and stand by the side when passing the car from the opposite direction and you'll be fine.

I give three stars because the water is dirty. It's not debris from the shore like leaves and branches. It's grease, foam and dirt from human, boats or houses. And the water is dirty from the morning which is surprising because there are no boats arriving in the morning.

I don't know what's the origin of this dirt but it looks really bad, organic and greasy so we left the beach after only one swim. I can say this is the beach with the dirtiest water on Lefkada that...

Ok I have mixed emotions... It's a nice beach BUT you need to realise the following:

Maybe it's the best beach for snorkeling and swimming with small fish BUT be prepared for jellyfish bites! Not sure if it was on that particular day I went or there is always jellyfish...

The only bar there is nice, has good food and reasonable prices but it gets over crowded and people are over each other on tbe beach.

Yes rhe last 2 kms of the road are too narrow and dangerous.

The temperature there is like 3-4 degrees higher than the rest pf the island maybe because its covered with mountains preventing cool air.

All in all, I think there is no reason to go there unless you have already visited Mikros Gialos and Disimi beaches which...
