Katara Pass — Attraction in Metsovo Municipality

We drove the entire Katara Pass starting from the village at Panagia all the way to Metsovo in June 2022. Happy to report that the road is very much OPEN and driveable. The section that was closed and under repair according to Google street view is now newly paved and joined to the road leading into Metsovo. Road is in good condition for most of the way. Stunning views. Drove with family in August 2024, from Ioannina to Meteora through old E92 (not the new A2 Egnatia Odos motorway). Sure there’s some gravel/debris on the road and it’s a bit bumpy at parts, but still driveable. Hardly any other drivers.
