Winery Goulis Corfu — Attraction in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

The place feels more like a small roadside bar than a full winery experience - cute, but with limited space to sit and enjoy. The staff member leading the tasting was knowledgeable, but the interaction came across as a bit stiff and not very welcoming - more factual than engaging. Out of the five wines we tried, only one or two stood out as decent; others, like the rosé and the semi-sweet red, were unfortunately not to our taste and felt really off. Very poor wine tasting experience. The 'host' either didn't know or didn't care about the wine, or probably both. Even though it's his family's vineyard and winery, he didn't have a clue on how to describe them. It was quite awkward to be honest. The wine quality is okay, but it's not worth a trip here, maybe if you're passing. They really need to put someone passionate (or at least talkative, with some knowledge of the wine!) in this place. Well if I could rate this little gem of a winery it would get 10 out of 5! The welcome was beautiful and authentic. The wines were out of this century, far from the boring usual grapes and seasoned methods.
