Andrew was an absolute pleasure to tour with. From the get go, he was very flexible with our needs, communicated in a timely manner. Andrew was very knowledgeable, hospitable, and added the perfect layer of education from start-finish that we were looking for. The unique private tour for us was a huge success. The historty of your family owned winery and where it all started was fascinating! Your papa who started it all graciosly came out to introduce himself to us was a heart waming touch! The presentation, explanation, local cheese parings and selection of wines was outstanding! The view took it to another level and we didn’t want to leave. About the wine.. There is so much you can possibly say about your wine and the flavors. You can legitimately describe what you taste, e.g. floral notes, honey, nuttiness freshness, and fruity flavors. All the ingredients are organic, vegan, no chemicals just pure ingredients. We bought several bottles and have no problem buying an additional suitcase to take back home. I could go on and on about our wonderful experience! We will definitely pass this along to share your magical winery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Cheers DK

We had a wonderful visit to Zacharioudakis Winery. The location is stunning, with panoramic views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains. Our guide was the son of the founder, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the family’s history and winemaking process. The tasting experience was excellent: each wine was beautifully presented and paired with local snacks that complemented the flavors perfectly. The wines themselves were exceptional. This is a must-visit spot for wine lovers exploring Crete.

The tour at the Zacharioudakis winery was absolutely amazing. The tour starts on the second floor of the building with a stunning view of the hillside. We are then walking through the facility and taken through the story of the family and their vision for building the winery. Throughout the visit, we were told about the winemaking methods and the origin of the vineyard's grapes. Afterwards we got to taste two white wines and two reds, paired with a delicious cheese platter. I would highly recommend it!

We were quite disappointed. Based on glowing Google reviews and a recommendation from a local, we came from far away specifically to visit this winery. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the lady politely informed us that it wasn’t possible to book a tour or tasting for today or even tomorrow.

We’ve visited three other wineries in the region, and none of them had this kind of restriction — they were all welcoming and flexible. If tours and tastings aren’t available without prior booking, that should be clearly stated online or on the premises to avoid misleading visitors. Otherwise, it creates confusion and unnecessary...

A brilliant wine tasting all round. Walking around the production rooms and cellar, we got walked through the entire process, and provided with lots of history of their own, and the local / Cretan area. The host was very knowledgeable and welcomed questions of any kind and explained all excellently.

The view from the tasting room is incredible.

The wines were fantastic (and generously poured !) and the parings great too.

If you have a car and are staying in the local area I definitely recommend doing...
