Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and we were pleased from the beginning till the end. While we weren’t there long enough to enjoy what the mountain has to offer I can say our son had an excellent time! We hired gear for him (three years old), skis and boots, and were swiftly introduced to our son’s instructor, Tasos. Instantly I liked him! He had excellent English and connected with us very quickly. He was a professional, caring individual who built confidence in our son while never losing site of the point to have fun! He was asking us for more after a one hour lesson and is hooked! Five stars Tasos!!! ...

Χιονοδρομικό κέντρο Βίγλας – Πισοδερίου.

Στη συμβολή των οροσειρών του Βαρνούντα (Περιστέρι) και του Βέρνου (Βίτσι), 19 χμ. δυτικά από την πόλη της Φλώρινας και σε υψόμετρο 1650 μ. έως 2000 μ., σχηματίζεται αυχένας, όπου βρίσκεται η διάβαση Βίγλας-Πισοδερίου. Στην τοποθεσία αυτή και μέσα σε δάσος από οξιές βρίσκεται ένα από τα καλύτερα Χιονοδρομικά Κέντρα της Ελλάδας.

Το χιονοδρομικό Βίγλας είναι ένα από τα παλαιότερα σε λειτουργία χιονοδρομικά κέντρα, αφού ο πρώτος του συρόμενος αναβατήρας τοποθετήθηκε το 1967. Η Βίγλα σήμερα διαθέτει πολλούς αναβατήρες και πίστες και ένα από τα ομορφότερα σαλέ που υπάρχουν στα ελληνικά βουνά, σε υψόμετρο 1.650 – 1.970 μέτρων, ενώ αναμένεται και η αναβάθμιση του χιονοδρομικού.

Το χιονοδρομικό κέντρο της Βίγλας Πισοδερίου είναι ένα αρκετά μεγάλο χιονοδρομικό, το οποίο περιβάλλεται από ένα τοπίο εκπληκτικής φυσικής ομορφιάς. Από την κορυφή του χιονοδρομικού η θέα προς τις λίμνες των Πρεσπών είναι απίστευτη, ενώ οι διαδρομές ανάμεσα στις οξιές δίνουν μια άλλη διάσταση στην ψυχαγωγία και την αναψυχή.

Το οργανωμένο Χιονοδρομικό, το μοναδικό στην Ελλάδα που βρίσκεται σε Εθνική Οδό, εκτός από το πολύ χιόνι που κρατάει για πολλούς μήνες έως και την άνοιξη, προσφέρει πίστες διανοιγμένες σε δασώσεις πλαγιές, φυσικά οριοθετημένες από τα δέντρα.
