Note: we visited on what ended up being a very windy (northly) day.
This is a very beautiful spot with the descent into the Gorge being a lot of fun (if you enjoy the gravel trail with no guard rails) with spectacular views, some friendly goats and apiaries.
The Gorge itself has steep walls either side, making it quite imposing, although it is itself only 70-100m in length at its narrowest.
At the beach it’s a pebble/dark sand beach and water is cool. There is a taverna which has a good selection of food and drinks.
For us, the wind became a challenge as the sand was being picked up in gusts and blown through the Gorge onto the beach and also at the taverna. Nothing that can be done other than to come back on not such...
