Amargiotakis Winery — Attraction in Municipality of Heraklion

What a great winery! Elefthería welcomed us even when we had no appointment! We tasted all of their wine which are made only with indigenous grapes and none has disappointed!!! Because our luggage weight, we could only buy tree and choose Antartiko, Anthokipos and the Chrissi, who is named after Elefthería daughter's who we had the plasure to meet! The view is amazing and they are planning a bigger terrace for next year! Maybe this is the reason I need to come...

Beautiful spot overlooking the valley, with a great set of wine tasting options! Their Thrapsathiri was excellent, and they gave us good advice on other wineries to visit all over Crete! Also a minor thing, but their bread sticks were phenomenal 😋.
