Best wine we tasted in Greece, and a beautiful terrace to enjoy a tasting as the sunsets, lovely vineyard with incredible views of the mountains, free to explore yourself rather than a guided tour. We turned up one afternoon without a booking and were warmly welcomed by the owners and staff, and the adorable Molly! The wine tasting is incredibly good value, only €15 for 8 wine samples (white, rose, red and dessert wine) and a small cheese/meat platter - definitely underselling themselves, we’d happily have paid €25-30 for this experience. A hidden gem that didn’t get too busy and had a fantastic view of the sunset. We spent the whole evening there, enjoyed a bottle of our favourite from the tasting and then bought another to take home. Thank you for a wonderful evening, our favourite...

Had the best afternoon here, at this quaint little vineyard full of history. The tour is pretty much a self guided walk around, it’s not too big so doesn’t take too long. Afterwards you can sample all their wines for €5 and this includes some free snacks. We stayed for a couple of glasses of wine afterwards sitting on their beautiful terrace. With every glass ordered they bring you another tray of snacks, it was very reasonably priced anyway so this felt like a really nice touch. The grounds are impeccable and I would highly recommend a visit to anyone who wants immerse themselves in the setting for an afternoon. For those travelling to the vineyard, we stayed in the Mitsis Summer Palace a 25min drive and a taxi was roughly...

This is the oldest winery here in Kos island, it's situated very close to Akrani vineyards.

I can recommend you to visit the place. However, the tasting portions were not enough to really taste the wine and you had to use the same glass for all the wines. No water was provided but there was cheese and bread to clean your palate.

When you ordered a glass of wine you got a pairing plate. That was a really delicious combination with wine!

I was with a group so I don't know if the tasting sizes were a bit bigger if you did go there by yourself.

Nevertheless, it had soul and the vineyard dog, Molly, was great! These are the reasons I recommend you to visit...
