Kohilari Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Kos

Here at Kohilari Beach, you will find a soft sandy beach with warm waves that provide endless hours of fun. You can walk out for quite a distance before it gets even remotely deep and then return to shore and relax on the comfiest sunbeds I've found on the island with deep padding. 2 sunbeds and an umbrella with a table all for €10 seams to be quite a bargain. If you are then feeling a little bit hungry or thirsty, you can take a short stroll up to the restaurant or ask the guy on the beach who will radio through your order then nip up to collect it on his bike. Very clean, nice soft sand which shelves gently into the sea, making it ideal for wading out and paddling. Warm water. Small waves, which add to the fun. There's a persistent wind, which is why it's popular with kite surfers, but that's perfect for staying cool. Sunbeds are spaced quite far apart, so you're not on top of your neighbour. A stunning beach with wild dunes in the background and crystal clear water. There is plenty of space and silence for relaxing and enjoying the music of the waves, with a strong wind that relieves the heat. The sunset was breathtaking! The delivery service from the restaurant was nice, fast, fair prices and delicious food. The only downside is all the plastic waste left on the beach either by tourists or brought on the shore...
