Well recontructed place! The view from top of the building is magnificent. Visiting the place it is like entering a time machine and visiting the past. Especially if the is a tour guide to make an intro for your and a little bit of a history knowledge!

The tickets are fairly cheap (5€), and the guide at the beginning gives you the information about the tower, and a brochure.
The tower is now used as a gallery. Currently, there are works of a German artist Klaus Pfeiffer (1938-2022), who lived on Naxos for many decades. The exhibition is titled "Wings of Icarus", and is certainly worth seeing.

We also attended a concert during the Naxos Festival - the outdoor courtyard is a magical venue. A heads up that the chairs were uncomfortable with very little leg room so try and get an aisle seat and bring a thin cushion...
