Lioliou beach — Attraction in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Amazing beach with crystal clear waters and a nice sand which is not to thin to stick to your feet! The rocky structures on the left and right side of the beach make it also unique. There is no shade, except very close to the rocks but for specific hours, and there is also no cafeteria nearby. However, this is on the top 3 best beaches...

Bella spiaggia con sabbia e acqua bassa, adatta ai bambini. Alcune tamerici rendono possibile la sosta anche senza ombrellone. C'è una buona taverna che però apre solo verso le 13. Ci sono studios per chi preferisce una vacanza fuori dai luoghi affollati. Dolente nota è la mancanza di trasporto pubblico. Fino a prima del covid nell'isola funzionava un servizio, ma ora o si noleggia un mezzo oppure si usa il cavallo di S Francesco! A piedi dalla Cora ci vogliono 30 minuti a scendere e circa 45 per salire.. si perché la viabilità nell'isola fa centro sulla Cora che è in altura perciò si SCENDE per andare nelle spiagge e si SALE per tornare in paese ...su strade bianche e polverose. Se decidete di andare a piedi scegliete le ore meno calde per gli spostamenti! Estrema ratio.... c'è un servizio taxi di cui è opportuno avere sotto mano...
