Agios Mamas Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Nea Propontida

Please be aware, thieves are lurking on the parking place of Yabanaki beach bar. We had the worst experience in the last day of our vacation. Thieves broke into our car and stole valuable belongings. Also we understood that we were not an isolated case. It was shocking for us that this things are happening right next to the beach bar. We declared it at the police but although they were very nice and paid attention to us we don't put big hopes to recover anything. The beach is not bad. It is very long and sandy. We were going there because it is not crowded and sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge if you order from the beach bar. Obviously big mistake...Greece is a beautiful country, but we've been left with a very bitter taste due to this incident. So please, don't leave you...

Clean, still pure, with a minimum of man made facilities. You can still find some beach bars and a very nice fish tavern. It is an interesting experience especially if the wind does not blow from the south. However, you definitely need private means of transportation to reach it. You will also spot some garbage around due to stupid sea lovers. Sad but true. Of course organized facilities do not exist, but this is not...

Τη συγκεκριμένη παραλία την επισκεφτόμασταν αρκετά συχνά τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. Παρ' όλο που είχε μεγάλη ανάπτυξη με πολλές καντίνες για beach bars η θάλασσα ήταν πάρα πολύ καλή και καθαρή. Ρηχή, με λίγο πετραδάκι. Ιδανική για οικογένειες. Φέτος, δυο μέρες μετά τον 15Αύγουστο και έχοντας να επισκεφτούμε τη παραλία δύο χρόνια, απογοητεύτηκα. Μία άδεια παραλία που δε θύμιζε με τίποτα τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. Ένα τύπου beach bar, το "Yabanaki", με ελάχιστες ξαπλώστρες και χωρίς μουσική. Αν και δεν είχε πολύ κόσμο δυστυχώς η θάλασσα ήταν βρώμικη. Θολή και με φύκια και χωρίς να έχει αέρα. Αρκετός ελεύθερος χώρος για να στήσεις τις δικές σου ομπρέλες μεν, αλλά η θάλασσα δυστυχώς δε σε αποζημιώνει. Τα παιδιά δε το ευχαριστήθηκαν καθόλου όπως παλιά. Δε νομίζω ότι θα ξανά επισκεφτούμε πλέον αυτή τη παραλία, διότι άλλαξαν και τους δρόμους και η πρόσβαση σε αυτή ήταν...
