We walked because it was nearby, to the right a plastic white canopy covering a beehive cave which they discovered a few years ago and then higher up just behind the olive trees you will find the entrances to the tombs. Some have collapsed but it is still worth more than a visit. We had a delicious meal in the taverna afterwards to look at the findings in the catalogue. Read moreA beautiful archaeological site, usually quiet and not overcrowded. There are many ancient tombs on this hill, and you can walk into most of them. I encountered a bat in one of them, so that is possible too. The artifacts found in those graves are exhibited in the archaeological museum of Nemea (worth a visit too), though many of them had unfortunately been stolen before the official excavation.
